Dear Reader,
I hope that you are keeping safe and well in these strange times.
As you may already be aware, Alan Lowne and Ronny Prince are no longer working on the magazine. Everyone at Laws Publishing wishes to give their appreciation to them for all of their great work over the years and we wish them well for the future.
Please rest assured that, whilst there are some exciting changes to our editorial team and some refreshing new ideas for the magazine, British Cinematographer will continue to be published to the same high standards and frequency as before. We are very grateful for the unequivocal support for the magazine given to us by the BSC, GBCT and IMAGO and we look forward to strengthening our ties and working even closer with them in the years ahead.
We have a great team of very experienced journalists, designers, web developers, social media experts and behind the scene back-office staff who have all made a huge contribution in making British Cinematographer the success it is today.
We are delighted to welcome two senior appointments to our team. Our new Editor is  Zoe Mutter who has great industry experience and will be reaching out to you all in the near future. We also welcome Samantha Skiller. As a Director of Laws, Sam was an original investor in the company and has worked as an integral part of the team for the past 17 years.
We also value our relationship and support from our advertisers and Zoe will be in touch with you regarding our plans and how we can continue to support and work with you in the months ahead. It’s a good opportunity to remind everyone to send all of your press material and items for our Production/Post and Techno News section to zoe@britishcinematographer.co.uk.
In these difficult times, it’s important that we demonstrate to the world the strength and resilience of the UK’s film and broadcast industry – British Cinematographer will be there as its trusted partner every step of the way.
