Following “significant investment” from Molinare Creative Group, Notorious DIT has strengthened its senior leadership team and established a new headquarters in Forest Hill, South London, marking a “significant milestone in the company’s continued growth as a provider of DIT, dailies, workflow and production technology services”.

Over the past two years, the business has undergone a “significant programme of investment across leadership, infrastructure and regional growth, strengthening its ability to support productions from location through to post-production”, it said.

At the heart of that investment is a new headquarters in Forest Hill. The larger facility provides a dedicated operational base for Notorious DIT’s growing team, technology infrastructure and logistics, with the aim of creating a stronger platform for future growth.

The company has also assembled a “highly experienced” leadership team, bringing together expertise from across production, post-production and business development.

Karla Lucas joins as general manager, following senior leadership roles at Roundtable Post Production and Clear Cut Pictures.

She is joined by Roger Harlow as head of business development, bringing extensive commercial experience from businesses including The Farm and Cinelab Film & Digital, and Courtney Welsh as senior producer, with more than 15 years of production experience.

Together with head of production and workflow James Vorley, the team will lead the continued development of the business and its services.

The investment comes as Notorious DIT continues to support productions across film, television and premium documentary, with recent credits including The Magic Faraway Tree and Should I Marry a Murderer

Alongside its new leadership team and operational hub, the company has strengthened its Scottish presence and expanded its reach into Ireland through the wider Molinare Creative Group.

Supported by an experienced roster of DITs and workflow specialists, Notorious DIT is “well positioned to support productions wherever they choose to film”.

As part of its continued development, the company has also invested in a range of flexible production solutions, including battery-powered workflows, electric vehicles and solar-assisted capabilities for productions seeking lower-impact production options.

Nigel Bennett, CEO of Molinare Creative Group, said: “We’ve made significant investments in Notorious DIT over the past two years because we believe strongly in the opportunity ahead.

“With Karla, James, Roger and Courtney leading the team, alongside a new operational hub and the support of the wider Molinare Creative Group, the business is exceptionally well positioned to support productions at an even higher level and build on the strong foundations already in place.”
