Introducing the British Cinematographer Player
Sep 15, 2021
We are incredibly excited to announce our latest addition to the British Cinematographer portfolio – the British Cinematographer Player. The VOD (Video on Demand) platform will run in parallel to the main website and complement it, with a focus on highlighting the industry’s best motion content in all its splendour.
As British Cinematographer is dedicated to celebrating a visual craft with an abundance of stunning creations to showcase, we hope the video-centric hub will prove to be a valuable resource for cinematographers and the wider filmmaking community.
Head to www.britishcinematographer.co.uk/player to explore the content the platform already has to offer. From training or behind-the-scenes videos through to panel discussions and interviews, the player gathers standout content aimed at the cinematographic and wider filmmaking community along with original videos. We can’t wait to watch it continue to grow.
We want you to be a big part of the platform. Therefore, we created the Showcase playlist to highlight your talent and work. Uploading a video to this, or any of the other free playlists (such as Behind the Scenes, Interviews, Training & Skills, and Roundtables & Panels), is easy. Click ‘Submit a video’ in the top right of the homepage and fill in the required fields, selecting the playlist category you would like your video to sit under.
If you have any queries about hosting your video on the site or if you have any feedback, please contact British Cinematographer Editor Zoe Mutter.
If you are interested in hosting your product video on British Cinematographer Player or creating a dedicated channel for your organisation, please contact Senior Account Manager Lizzy Sutherst for further details and pricing.
You can check out the sparkling new player now by clicking here. We hope you enjoy the content already hosted on the site and look forward to receiving your content and hearing your feedback as we continue to expand this exciting new platform in line with the industry’s needs and interests.
