Society of Camera Operators announce changes to awards timeline

The Society of Camera Operators is announcing changes to the Awards that will be held on March 5, 2022.
The Awards will have both digital and in-person components. The Awards Committee will present three awards—the Technical Achievement Award and the Camera Operator of the Year Awards for Film & Television—in both a virtual and an in-person experience. These changes impact the Awards timeline as noted below, with more details to follow.

- November 5:Â Technical Achievement Award submission open
December 2021
- December 17:Â Camera Operator of the Year Film & Television nominations open
- December 17: Technical Achievement Awards submissions close—DEADLINE EXTENDED to December 31, 2021
January 2022
- January 14:Â Camera Operator of the Year Film & Television nominations close
- January 15:Â Demo Day (Technical Achievement Award)
- January 18:Â Announce Technical Achievement Award Recipient
February 2022
- February 14:Â Camera Operator of the Year Film & Television membership voting opens
