Britain’s leading forum for television and media, the Royal Television Society (RTS), has revealed the winners of the RTS Craft & Design Awards 2022, sponsored by Apple TV+. The prestigious awards ceremony, celebrating the huge variety of skills and processes involved in programme making, was held on Monday 5 December at the London Hilton on Park Lane and hosted by journalist and television presenter Ranvir Singh.

The BBC saw 14 wins across the 29 categories, while Sky received 6 awards overall – half of which were for the evening’s most feted programme, Landscapers.

Photography winners included Tim Shepherd, Todd Kewley, Oliver Mueller & camera team for their work on The Green Planet, and Erik Wilson BSC for Landscapers, while Thomas Urbye was recognised in Picture Enhancement, also for Landscapers.

“Congratulations to all our RTS Craft and Design winners this year,” said Ade Rawcliffe, Chair of the Awards. “The exceptional range and depth of skills represented in this year’s winners shines a light on the outstanding talent that work behind the camera in UK content creation across many platforms.”
