Instagrid launches new product for North American market

Instagrid announces the launch of Instagrid GO.

The high-performance battery unit will provide mobile power to North American workers facing challenging power demands, while simultaneously transforming workplace safety and driving the industry net-zero push.

Global off-grid work is currently dominated by inefficient and costly fuel-powered combustion generators that produce harmful emissions and pose health risks to users. In the United States, new safety standards for portable generators have been proposed, with the State of California already confirming a ban on the sale of portable gas-powered generators, coming into effect in 2028.

Instagrid GO: portable energy reinvented

Instagrid GO (shown above, product spec below) is the new North American market-specific, IoT-enabled mobile energy source for construction and film production, providing clean power for anyone, anywhere, anytime:

• Uncompromising power – Instagrid GO delivers grid-like performance with a rated power output of 3.6 kW and peak power output of 18.0 kW, meaning users can power even the most demanding tools with ease.
• Efficient by design – Unlike the heavy traditional combustion generators, weighing just 46 lb the Instagrid GO is easily transported in just one hand, allowing the user to carry the power with them wherever they go. Its additional IP44 rating means it can be used in all weather conditions, and it’s protected from dust and particles.

Instagrid GO is also available to purchase in UK markets, delivering power equivalent to the UK construction regulation 110 V
