Cooke will be attending the European Lens Summit, held for the second year at CVP’s Brentford facility, Saturday July 12 and Sunday July 13, 2025.

US rental house and reseller Koerner Camera have been the host to the Pacific Northwest Lens Summit since 2017. In 2023, they partnered with CVP to bring the Summit to Europe. Since then, both companies alternate hosting the event each year.

2025 marks the second time CVP is hosting the Summit at their facility in Brentford, West London. The event is a chance for cinematographers, lens technicians, camera assistants, owner operators and many more to engage with leading cine optics experts.

Throughout the weekend, CVP will facilitate workshops, seminars and masterclasses about the art and science of cine optics, all presented by leading lens manufacturers.

Cooke will have a stand dedicated to testing the SP3 mirrorless prime lenses. All 6 focal lengths will be available to test (18mm,25mm,32mm,50mm,75mm,100mm) alongside the DJI Ronin 4D camera. Cooke will also have an exclusive preview of their latest announcement: the Panchro/i 65 lens.

Additionally, Cooke will be host to two important sessions, led by experts from Cooke Optics and Cooke Digital.

On Saturday and Sunday morning (10:00 – 11:30), Cooke will be hosting a workshop that will run attendees through specific things to look out for when dealing with Cooke /i Technology lenses.

Jack Cherrington, Service Technician, will be hosting the workshop on Saturday afternoon, and Sen Selvagumar, /i Technology and Processing Manager will be doing the same on Sunday.

The workshop is aimed at lens technicians and ACs and will run through the important procedures of lens maintenance when considering /i Technology protocols.

On Saturday and Sunday evening (17:00 – 18:00), Cooke Digital will host a seminar taking place on the main stage at CVP Brentford.

Sara Coppola-Nicholson of Cooke Digital will be joined by special guests across multiple disciplines to provide insights into the creative collaborations between cinematographers and digital artists.

One of the guests includes VFX Supervisor Victor Perez, whose most recent film, From Naples to New York, won Best Visual Effects at the 2025 David di Donatello Awards.
