Digital Orchard appoints Adam Shell as head of technology

Following the continued growth of Digital Orchard’s on-set & post production services, Adam Shell has joined the company in the newly created role of Head of Technology.
Adam brings a wealth of experience and expertise, having worked in the media production industry for over 20 years. Previously, he was Director of Workflow at YoYotta, supplying workflow software solutions for the production & post industry.
In this role Adam provided technical support to new and existing clients, whilst designing and implementing robust workflows for feature films, high-end television and commercial productions. His strong understanding of NLE and post production software is invaluable, as is his in-depth knowledge of camera workflow, colour science, editorial, vfx and DI.
Adam also has extensive credits as an independent colourist & finishing artist, working on productions ranging from tentpole features to commercials & small budget shorts.
Based in Chalfont St Giles, Digital Orchard is an industry-leading film and digital service provider offering unique end-to-end workflow and colour-management solutions from capture to post. They provide expert technicians on-set, dailies labs, colourists, picture post and deliverables services to feature film and HETV productions, as well as film scanning alongside processing partners KODAK.
Adam joins Digital Orchard during a period of continued growth for the company. With his vast post production experience, Adam will play a vital part in the development of the facility and the expansion of its services, further establishing Digital Orchard as a one-stop destination for capture to post.
