Jun 22, 2021

Digital Orchard Foundation has partnered with BECTU Camera Branch on a new programme to support talent moving into, and up through the camera department.

The Virtual Cinematography Roadshow is designed to welcome those who identify as being from a group which is underrepresented into the film and TV industry. For example, new entrants such as those who are facing barriers due to; age, race, sexual orientation, gender, disability (visible and non visible), socioeconomic background and/or caring responsibilities.

Via online Q&As, videos, mentoring and industry introductions, the programme aims to offer an introduction to cinematography as a career alongside all roles in and linked to the camera department, with industry experts sharing knowledge and insights, giving participants the technical know-how and personal skills to take with them on set.

Get in touch with Digital Orchard if you are interested in taking part in this kind of event, as a participant or tutor.
