Creative Technology bring CTFest back for 2022
Apr 12, 2022
After two years away, Creative Technology (CT) is excited to bring back their Festival of Technology – an event held at the company’s headquarters in London Gatwick.
Attendees can get hands-on experience and insight into innovative technologies from top manufacturers, join engaging knowledge sessions and education seminars, and take part in interactive demonstrations and presentations.
This year the event will be exploring the world of live event technology deployed across corporate, broadcast, entertainment, and sport – demonstrating how it can be utilised in these ever-evolving markets and how this technology can be repurposed across the different industries.
Among the demonstrations and displays being showcased include:
- HOLOPLOT 3D Audio-Beamforming Technology – A revolution in sound control creating a completely new way of designing and experiencing audio.
- Virtual Production and Real-Time Rendering – Who are the manufacturers leading the technology charge and how can you benefit from this.
- Mixing for Tomorrow – How can we capture multiple inputs from varied sources and share to audiences around the world.
- Connectivity – How can we communicate in real-time and share our experiences with remote participants and contributors.
Creative Technology has also announced the inclusion of their new conneCT initiative as part of the event – an education offering, enabling the sharing of knowledge between the industry of today with the industry of tomorrow.
Attendees can expect a range of educational sessions set to engage the industry and future talent through seminars and roundtable discussions, in collaboration with Event Cycle, an event materials repurposing and donations company.
Manufacturers, creatives, technical specifiers, and end users will all attend CTFest22, providing the ideal environment to introduce them to the next generation of industry professionals. Working with a number of leading educational establishments, CT are offering support to the students in the lead-up to the event including soft skills, networking techniques and careers guidance. Students will then attend alongside the industry and take part in demonstrations and manufacturer led sessions and forums.
As part of the day, CT have also invited the industry to support and partake in several events supporting the students in finessing their presentation and networking skills. These more focused sessions will allow for valuable meet and greets with the opportunity to enhance knowledge, relationships, and networks. Some of the offerings include ‘Speed Networking’, ‘A Day in The Life Of’, and ‘Pitch to Win’ sessions.
Event Cycle will also be hosting an industry-wide daily roundtable looking at current relevant discussion for the live events industry and taking a snapshot to share further. As part of conneCT, students will also be represented on the panel and offer their thoughts and ideas as the practitioners of the future.
With agencies such as, DPRG, Identity, TFI Lodestar, TRO, and WRG with input from a variety of industry leading companies along with media publications TPi and British Cinematographer already committed to support, this is going to be a great opportunity for the industry to help and welcome in the next generation.
