Rebecca Miller’s She Came to Me to close EnergaCAMERIMAGE
Nov 6, 2023
We are days away from the beginning of the annual celebration of the art of cinematography – the 31st edition of EnergaCAMERIMAGE International Film Festival.
This year’s edition will conclude on Saturday, November 18th, with a Closing Ceremony and award presentation followed by a special screening of Rebecca Miller’s She Came to Me with memorable cinematography of Sam Levy. The film will be introduced by director Rebecca Miller, cinematographer Sam Levy and actress Joanna Kulig.
The film stars Academy Award winners Anne Hathaway (Les Misérables, The Dark Knight Rises) and Marisa Tomei (My Cousin Vinny, The Wrestler), four-time Primetime Emmy winner Peter Dinklage (Game of Thrones, Cyrano), and Joanna Kulig (Cold War, The Eddy). A composer who lives in the world’s most inspiring city is in crisis – he has to write an opera that will thrill the entire New York. This is not a simple task – the blasé cream of society has seen almost everything. Following the advice of his wife, who, along with running a popular therapy clinic, struggles with obsessive-compulsive disorder herself, he decides to look for inspiration in the least expected place. His muse turns out to be a sexaholic and a captain of a fishing vessel drifting around Manhattan.
This is exactly the visual conclusion we expected from this year’s edition of EnergaCAMERIMAGE, and we are positive you will have a spectacular time watching She Came to Me in Toruń.
Be sure to note that the screening of She Came to Me will be held on November 18th in CKK Jordanki in Toruń and will be a part of EnergaCAMERIMAGE 2023 Closing Ceremony, to which you need an invitation. However, subject to availability of free seats, we will admit holders of festival entry cards.
