Nominations for the WFTV Awards 2022 are now open

Women in Film and Television has opened nominations for the WFT Awards 2022.

Their annual Awards, now in its 31st edition, celebrate the achievements of women in the industry across 14 different categories including Director, Writer, Producer, Business and Contribution to the Medium. It’s a celebratory occasion, where they will be honouring some of the brilliant women working in the industry.

You can nominate women working in film or television – it’s free to enter and you can nominate more than once in any category. Click here to submit a nomination.

The winners will be announced at the WFTV Awards 2022, which will take place on the afternoon of Friday 2 December at the London Hilton Park Lane. Nominations will close 17:00 on Friday 10 June.

Their brand new award, The Elouise Carden Rising Star Award for Post Production, is also open for nominations. This award recognises outstanding work by an early career woman working in post production. Nominees are required to have worked in the industry for up to four years and have made a real impact on colleagues and/or clients.

Submissions are open to female runners, audio assistants, assistant online editors, junior post producers, post production assistants and post production bookings, junior post production engineers, machine room assistants, and VFX assistants. The winner of this award will be announced at the WFTV Summer Party and will receive a £2,000 bursary which can be used for training, professional development and equipment to further their career in post. Submit a nomination here.
