Steve Knight, CEO at Pixipixel says: “We’re very excited to have made a new investment to expand our LED lighting inventory with the Rotolight Titans. The Titan X2 panels are packed with numerous features that will be appreciated by cinematographers and gaffers, and the X1s are great for stills photographers and filmmakers. I’m very pleased we have added these to Pixipixel’s offering.”
Leading gaffer Howard Davidson, who has now joined the team at Pixipixel, recently wrapped a period feature film The Colour Room starring Phoebe Dynever (Bridgerton) and Matthew Goode (The Imitation Game), lit extensively with Rotolight Titan X1 and X2s throughout. Howard said: “The Rotolight’s Titans have been a workhorse, they just slid into my workflow on set seamlessly and that was really important. Their CRMX implementation is fantastic, and the user interface is also really terrific, and very easy for people to use for the first time. I’m super satisfied with it. The Titans punch above their weight, it’s a great bit of kit.
Johnny Colley, director of lighting at Pixipixel said: “The Rotolight Titans are a great addition to our lighting department. Versatile, easy to rig and manoeuvre, and with 16.7 million colours to work with, these offer a lot of flexibility and creative possibilities. The intuitive full-colour touchscreen display will enable filmmakers and photographers to set up fast and save time on set. Having tested the X1 and X2’s for myself, I would highly recommend the Titans.”
Rod Aaron Gammons, CEO of Rotolight said: “We’re delighted with Pixipixel’s investment in the award-winning Titan cinematic lights, and look forward to partnering with them to bring them to gaffers and DOPs on their upcoming productions. Pixipixel is renowned for investing in the best technology the industry has to offer and outstanding customer service, so we’re delighted to be joining their arsenal of great products.”
