Manaki calls for projects for co-production forum with France

Eligible projects: feature-length (minimum length of 70 minutes) fiction film projects in development, intended for theatrical release, with at least national funding in place, and with a potential for co-producing with France 

Eligible countries: N. Macedonia, Serbia, Montenegro, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Albania, and Kosovo 

Required documents (in English):

  • Screenplay
  • Treatment (up to 4 pages)
  • Synopsis (up to 2000 characters including spaces)
  • Logline
  • Director’s statement (up to 3000 characters including spaces)
  • Director’s bio-filmography (up to 2000 characters including spaces)
  • Producer’s bio-filmography (up to 2000 characters including spaces)
  • Proof of national funding
  • Financing plan
  • Production schedule
  • A letter elaborating the project’s potential for co-producing with France (up to 1500 characters including spaces) 

Please submit the projects as a single PDF file (up to 10 MB) at office@manaki.com.mk 

A total of five projects will be selected for the Manaki Co-production Forum with France.

The representatives of the five selected projects (director or producer) will have one-on-one meetings with three French producers on September 26, 2024, in Bitola, N. Macedonia.

The festival (ICFF Manaki Brothers) will cover the travel and accommodation costs for one representative of each selected project.

There is no submission fee. Submission deadline: August 19, 2024. Selection announcement: September 2, 2024.
