Feb 6, 2024

The Studio Social launched on 31 January – an informal gathering of UK film and TV studio heads, including 3 Mills Studios, ARRI Stage London, Camberwell, CUBE Studio, Distortion Studios, Ealing Studios, Elstree Studios, Garden Studios, Gun Hill Studios, Haddenham Studios, IMG Studios, Longcross, Serious Stages Ltd, Mount Pleasant Studios, Island Studios/Panavision, Pinewood Studios, RD Studios, Sky Studios Elstree, The Backstage Centre, Troubadour Studios, and Stage Fifty.

The event was hosted by Pocket Films Ltd – publishers of The Studio Map – and held at The Chiswick Cinema, west London, with support from London Borough of Hounslow.

Pocket Films’ publisher, Tony Franks, explains the concept behind The Studio Social. “There seemed to be a growing willingness for film studios to meet, chat and explore collaborations in a relaxed environment. The Studio Social is an organic event to help facilitate those conversations.”

Paul de Carvalho, general manager, 3 Mills Studio said of the event: “A very useful meet-up. Great to be there and represent 3 Mills Studios and connect with colleagues old and new. Looking forward to the next one.
