Winners of third annual Gotham Television Awards announced – I Love LA, Pluribus and more

The winners of the third annual Gotham Television Awards have been announced at a ceremony held at Cipriani Wall Street in New York City.

Among the shows taking home prizes were Pluribus for Breakthrough Drama Series, I Love LA for Breakthrough Comedy Series, Katrina: Come Hell and High Water for Breakthrough Nonfiction Series and DTF St. Louis for Outstanding Limited or Anthology Series.

Gotham also presented Claire Danes with the Performer Tribute for Netflix’s The Beast in Me, the Duffer Brothers with the Visionary Tribute for Netflix’s Stranger Things, Michelle Pfeiffer with the Legend Tribute for Apple TV’s Margo’s Got Money Troubles and Paramount+’s The Madison, Kerry Washington with the Spotlight Tribute for Apple TV’s Imperfect Women, and the cast of FX’s Love Story: John F. Kennedy Jr. & Carolyn Bessette with the Ensemble Tribute.

Finally, organisers announced this year’s The Gotham’s Series Creators to Watch in partnership with SeriesFest, highlighting “emerging series creators whose work reflects bold creative voices within the evolving television landscape”. 

The creators selected include Kim Blanck, Jahmil Eady, Shaina Feinberg, Gideon Grody-Patinkin, Grace Hanna, Elvira Ibragimova, Derek Manansala, Hannah Shealy, Tyler Stuart, Celine Sutter, and Ewen Wright.
