Vancouver Film School announces opportunity for the 2024 Future Scholarship

Canada’s premier post-secondary entertainment arts institution, Vancouver Film School, has announced the return of its Future Scholarship for 2024. The scholarship fund, valued at over $150,000, aims to support emerging creative talent by providing world-class post-secondary training for a career in the creative industries.

Three full-tuition scholarships are available for students to study a variety of topics including film, animation, game, and design, among others. Scholarship recipients will enroll in their  program of choice from VFS’s School of Animation, School of Film & Television, or School of Games & Creative Design. The scholarship is valid for all start dates in 2024.

Jonathan Bell, Managing Director of VFS, says: “VFS is excited to offer the Future Scholarship once again for 2024. This is an incredible opportunity for aspiring creative professionals – from actors to game designers to animators and more – to take the first step in their journey and receive the training they need to land a career in these industries. We consistently have alumni credited and working on the top industry projects worldwide, demonstrating VFS’s professionalism and quality of training. We look forward to welcoming new talent with this scholarship and cultivating their creative careers.”

Scholarship recipients will learn directly from industry professionals, giving them first-hand experience of the requirements for their chosen career. Students will graduate in 12 months armed with the skillset, network and portfolio necessary to break into the industry after graduation and get hired and working right away.
