The prestigious Society of Camera Operators (SOC) announce the nominees for the Camera Operator of the Year awards for the Film and Television categories. Recipients will be presented and honored during the annual SOC Lifetime Achievement Awards weekend on February 14 &15, 2025, at the Loews Hollywood Hotel.
“This year’s awards take on even greater meaning as Los Angeles faces the challenges of recent wildfires,” shared Matthew Moriarty, SOC President. “The SOC has decided to continue with the Awards show as a way to celebrate and honor the incredible work of camera operators and crews during this difficult time. Thanks to the generous support of Fujifilm, the Friday reception will also be open to all members at no cost, providing an opportunity for our community to come together, reflect, and celebrate the resilience and dedication of our industry.”
