
The Royal Television Society has revealed the nominations for the RTS Craft & Design Awards 2025.
The ceremony will take place on Monday 8 December at the London Hilton on Park Lane.
In the Photography – Scripted category, Balazs Bolygo BSC HCA has received a nod for Suspect: The Shooting of Jean Charles de Menezes, as has Sam Thomas for Until I Kill You and Si Bell BSC for What It Feels Like for a Girl.
For Photography – Non-scripted, Andy Pritchard is nominated for Marw Gyda Kris / Death with Kris, alongside Charlie Hamilton James, Johnny Rolt and Bertie Gregory for Billy & Molly: An Otter Love Story and Marcel Mettelsiefen for State of Rage.
Across the 29 competitive categories, the BBC leads the way with a total of 25 nominations.
The BBC takes all three nods for the Costume Design – Scripted category, with What It Feels Like for a Girl, Wolf Hall – The Mirror and the Light and Mr. Loverman, as well as all three for the Director – Multicamera category, with EastEnders, Glastonbury 2025 and Strictly Come Dancing.
Disney+ follows with 16 nominations, garnering two of three nods in the Design – Titles category for A Thousand Blows and Eyes of Wakanda. Next up is Netflix with 13 nominations, earning two of three nominations in the Casting Award category for Adolescence and Black Doves.
Produced by Hera Pictures for the BBC, What It Feels Like for a Girl, shot by Bell, Kate Reid BSC and Neus Ollé BSC AEC, scored the most nominations for a series and is up for six awards across the following categories: Casting Award; Costume Design – Scripted; Director – Scripted; Editing – Scripted; Photography – Scripted; and Production Design – Scripted.
Netflix’s groundbreaking limited series Adolescence, shot by Matthew Lewis, follows closely with five nominations.
