The Red Sea International Film Festival (Red Sea IFF) has announced a further wave of speakers joining its ‘In Conversation With’ strand for the 2025 edition of the festival, which begins on 4 December.
This strand welcomes special guests from all over the world to “share insights and have meaningful discussions about their practice, passions and stories with fans, cinema lovers and industry executives”, Red Sea IFF said.
Actor and businesswoman Jessica Alba (Fantastic Four), Academy Award-nominated actor Ana de Armas (Blonde), Canadian actor Nina Dobrev (The Vampire Diaries), Academy Award nominee Kirsten Dunst (Roofman), award-winning actor Dakota Johnson (Materialists), Academy Award-nominated actor and producer Queen Latifah (Girls Trip), and star of Hindi cinema Kriti Sanon (Tere Ishk Mein) will all be appearing during the festival to discuss their careers and insights.
This follows the recent announcement that stars including Indian cinema icon Aishwarya Rai Bachchan (Ponniyin Selvan: I, Bride and Prejudice), two-time Academy Award winner Adrien Brody (The Pianist, The Brutalist) – who previously spoke at the 2023 edition of Red Sea IFF – and the 2025 Features Jury president, the Academy Award winner Sean Baker (Anora, The Florida Project), will form part of the ‘In Conversation With’ strand.
Celebrated actor and director Giancarlo Esposito (The Mandalorian, Breaking Bad) will also host an intimate discussion for the Red Sea Labs’ SeriesLab participants.
Red Sea Labs is the year-round RSIFF’s talent incubation programme for film and episodic storytelling which hosts a series of workshops during the festival.
