Pathway appoints new advisory board members

Virtual Production company Pathway have appointed senior media and entertainment executives Paul Robinson and Spencer Phillips to their advisory board. Robinson and Phillips join Amanda Nevill CBE in an advisory capacity to the burgeoning media-tech company based in Manchester.
Media entrepreneur Paul Robinsn is a veteran of television and digital formats and a specialist in children’s entertainment. In a prior role as Senior Vice President and Managing Director of The Walt Disney Company Robinson was responsible for global programing and production strategy for Disney Channels Worldwide. Currently Robinson is President of NYSE quoted Kartoon Channel.
Spencer Phillips also joins Pathway’s Advisory Board. Phillips brings a dynamic background to the company which encompasses an extensive track record in brand development, programming and sales and marketing for organisations including Ticketmaster, LW Theatres, TCAT, Showtown Blackpool and The Path Entertainment Group.
Phillips commented, “Pathway provides new and innovative ways for IP holders to creatively explore the benefits of real-time technology to create content that will play a pivotal role in the future of how new ideas are produced. It’s a pleasure to be engaged with a forward thinking team during a dynamic chapter of industry change.”

Pathway’s first year has gotten off to a flying start with the launch of its first studio and a first of its kind virtual production incubator to help support entrepreneurs to develop early stage creative media content. The appointment of Robinson and Phillips set the stage for a strong onward journey into 2024.
