Panasonic announces two new LUMIX cameras

Panasonic introduce two new compact cameras — the LUMIX TZ99 and LUMIX G97.

LUMIX TZ99

The LUMIX TZ99 is a pocket-size travel camera, perfect for capturing life’s adventures on the go. Available in black or silver, the TZ99 will be available from February 2025 at an RRP of £469.

Standout features include:

• 30x zoom in a pocket-sized body — including up to 60x with iZoom.
• 24-720mm LEICA DC lens — equipping creators with the ability to capture broad landscapes and intricate details with clarity.

LUMIX G97

The LUMIX G97 micro four thirds camera combines high-performance and simplicity, empowering creators to elevate their photography and video skills. Also available from February 2025, the G97 is offered as a body-only option (RRP

£699) or with two kit variations: £799 with a 12-60mm lens or £899 with a 14-140mm lens.

• 20.3MP CMOS sensor — delivering superb image quality with vibrant colours and sharp details, combined with the Venus Engine processor and LUMIX Photo Style to further fine-tune images.
