NFTS alumni wins VMA award for cinematography

Benoit Soler won the 2021 VMAs for best cinematography for his work on Beyonce’s ‘Brown Skin Girl’.

This is the third time an NFTS alumnus has won the MTV Best Cinematography Award. In 1986 it went to Oliver Stapleton for ‘The Sun Always Shines on T.V.’ by a-ha. In 2011 it went to Thomas Townend for ‘Rolling in the Deep’ by Adele.
