Managing Director of Goldcrest Post (Goldcrest) Patrick Malone has announced that the company has strengthened its senior creative team with the appointment of multi award-winning colourist Jet Omoshebi, who will be joining Goldcrest in January 2018 to spearhead its rapidly expanding High End TV department.
Omoshebi most recently served as Senior Colourist at Deluxe’ Encore Post in London where she graded numerous long form television projects including Fortitude, The Night Manager, Da Vinci’s Demons & Luther. Previously Omoshebi has worked at leading facilities including MPC, SVC, Rushes and Digital Film Lab.
A popular and regular speaker within both industry and educational forums, Omoshebi has been awarded by both the RTS and Women in Film and Television and garnered additional recognition as No1 Colourist in the highly regarded Televisual VFX Artists poll.
“You only have to look at the enormously high profile titles and outstanding quality of the work Goldcrest is doing to see this is a really exciting time to be joining. The team is truly exceptional and I’m looking forward to working with them.” said Omoshebi.
Malone noted “Jet is genuinely amongst the best in the business and this appointment is a very real indication of our commitment to reinforcing our position as the number one destination for makers of long form and theatrical entertainment. ”
The announcement comes as Goldcrest completes work on the refurbishment of its Soho cutting rooms together with a new suite of grading, online and sound facilities specifically created to accommodate episodic drama workflows.
