INFiLED reveals plans for biggest-ever IBC show

Sep 6, 2024

INFiLED, a leading global manufacturer of high-end LED display solutions, has unveiled a huge product and content showcase for IBC2024 (RAI Amsterdam, 13th–16th September), one of the world’s most-attended broadcast media and tech shows.

Boasting a must-visit programme of technology showcases and demonstrations, talks from industry experts, and plenty of opportunities to take advantage of INFiLED’s famous on-stand hospitality, IBC2024 booth 3.B61 (Hall 3) is set to be a show-stopper again this year.

“IBC is the number-one meeting place for broadcasting, media and entertainment professionals globally,” confirms Marco Bruines, CEO of INFiLED EMEA, “and with INFiLED celebrating 15 years of Consistent Excellence in 2024, we’re planning on pulling out all the stops to make sure IBC2024 is a show to remember.”

STUDIO Series

Tailor-made for film and broadcast, INFiLED’s STUDIO Series boasts a modular system allowing compatibility between various product series to match specific production requirements: STUDIO ceiling (AR Series), STUDIO Background (DBmk2 and Xmk2 Series) and STUDIO Floor (DFII).

Showcased on the INFiLED stand in an immersive broadcast environment, this Series offers exceptional contrast, brightness and colour accuracy for extended reality (xR) and virtual production (VP) applications.

Visitors will discover how these flexible products work create a fully integrated visual broadcast solution: The stand will be equipped with  the ultra-black STUDIO DBmk2 1.9 and curvable STUDIO Xmk2 1.9, coupled with the  AR Series 5.9 RGBW acting as a ceiling LED display (and featuring an extended colour spectrum thanks to INFiLED’s INFINITE COLORS technology for full variations in tone and saturation within a single display solution).

The STUDIO DBmk2 and Xmk2 Series in particular feature CBSF Technology (Colour & Brightness Shift Free) which eliminates colour shift and uneven brightness to deliver the vibrant and accurate colour performance demanded by high-end broadcast environments. Powered by INFiLED’s in-house-designed M2 LED package, CBSF technology represents a significant leap forward in LED technology for xR and VP.

TV studio showcase

Showcasing how its LED products seamlessly integrate into a broadcast environment, the INFiLED stand will be home to a fully functional TV studio set equipped with WPmk2 1.5 panels.

The second-generation WP Series model is enhanced with INFiLED’s exclusive ColdLED technology, designed to address the heat-related challenges commonly associated with LED screens. The product of several years of research and development, ColdLED leverages several leading-edge techniques (including the flip-chip process, common cathode technology, and a novel PCB lay-out) to offer users huge improvements in energy efficiency and heat reduction. ColdLED-equipped displays are also brighter and more durable, transforming how content is brought to life in studio settings.

Creative LED display with MAGCUBE

IBC2024 attendees will also get a first look at MAGCUBE, INFiLED’s new cube-shaped LED solution for rental-staging applications. MAGCUBE features great compatibility with several of INFiLED’s rental products for creative display applications.

Complementing MAGCUBE and the STUDIO Series showcase will be a monitor set-up featuring the WT MIP 0.9, which offers mixable light with no mura effect, and a sample table featuring a range of industry-leading LED products, including DBmk2 1.9, Xmk2 1.9, WPmk2 1.56, WT 0.9 MIP and DBmk2 1.5 panels.

Talks & networking

In collaboration with industry partners Brompton Technology, Disguise, Cuebric, ICT AG and RED Digital Cinema, INFiLED will host three days of talks, presentations and panel discussions tackling some of the hottest topics in broadcast and media.

Unmatched insight from a range of industry experts – including a behind-the-scenes look at the making of the multiple Oscar-winning Poor Things courtesy of VP guru Erik Wolff (HALOSTAGE) – means stand 3.B61 will be the go-to location for IBC attendees wishing to build their knowledge of how LED technology is transforming the media landscape.
