The HPA Awards Committee announced nominees for the 2022 HPA Awards creative categories.
Recognised as the standard bearer for creative accomplishment and technical innovation, the HPA Awards honour outstanding achievement and artistic excellence by both individuals and teams. This year’s categories have been expanded to include Outstanding Colour Grading, Editing, and Sound for Documentary/Nonfiction and Outstanding Supporting Visual Effects.
The awards will return to the historic Hollywood Legion Theatre for the second year on November 17, when the winners of the creative category honours will receive their awards in person. Tickets for the event are now on sale for HPA members and nominees at hpaonline.com.
Launched in 2006, the HPA Awards creative categories recognise outstanding achievement in colour grading, editing, sound, and visual effects for work in episodic, spots, and feature films.
