Harbor hires Anthony Raffaele, Elizabeth Hickey, & Julien Alary

As the new year kicks off, Harbor adds new talent to its Picture Post roster with the arrival of senior colourist, Anthony Raffaele, Dailies colourist, Elizabeth Hickey, and senior colourist, Julien Alary, announced founder and CEO, Zak Tucker.
With major credits including Café Society, Mapplethorpe and Oslo, Anthony Raffaele brings versatility, a wealth of experience, plus a host of established relationships with acclaimed filmmakers and cinematographers to his new role as senior colourist.
Previous positions include tenures at Picture Shop (formerly Sim) and Nice Shoes, Technicolor PostWorks, New York, and Deluxe, New York.
Raffaele has collaborated with legendary cinematographer Vittorio Storaro on four Woody Allen films, Rifkin’s Festival, A Rainy Day in New York, Wonder Wheel, and Café Society (Allen’s first digital film). His recent collaboration for HBO with cinematographer Janusz Kaminski, Oslo, was nominated for two Emmys. Raffaele also boasts notable collaborations with talented artists such as Roberto Schafer, Nancy Schrieber, Dean Cundy, Rachel Morrison, Joe Colins, and Frank Prinzi.
His television credits include Blue Bloods for CBS, Younger for JAX Media, Los Espookys for HBO, The Get Down for Netflix, The Helpsters for Apple TV, and Mr. Mayor for NBC. In the documentary realm, his work includes Springsteen on Broadway for Netflix and Years of Living Dangerously for Showtime.
His most recent credits include The Jesus Rolls by director John Turturro and cinematographer Frederick Elmes, as well as Awkwafina Is Nora from Queens, Younger, The Virtuoso, Mr. Mayor, and Tommy.

Rising colour talent, Elizabeth Hickey has joined Harbor’s talent pool, after honing her skills over the last 5 years in entertainment and advertising. Her major clients include HBO, The History Channel, AT&T, Peloton, National Geographic, Airbnb, Nike, Google, and Facebook.
She began her colour career by assisting the filmmaking team Taggart Siegel and Jon Betz (The Real Dirt on Farmer John, Queen of the Sun) on their film, SEED: The Untold Story. Hickey then joined ChromaColor in Portland before relocating to Tokyo, Japan where she joined the History Channel as a colourist. From there, she went on to Assemblage, a full-service production company in central Tokyo working for brands such as Amazon, Speedo, Danskin, and Zeiss.

In addition to the exciting additions above, Harbor has tapped the talent of senior colourist, Julien Alary to complement its growing global roster. With over 20 years of experience, more than 60 feature films and a host of major commercials to his credit, Alary brings a wealth of knowledge, skill, and relationships with some of the industry’s most exciting filmmakers. Most recently, he graded The Worst Person in the World for Joachim Trier which played in main competition at the Cannes Film Festival 2021.
Starting out in 2000 at Chimney Pot in Oslo, Norway, Alary witnessed firsthand the industry’s transformation from Telecine to DI grading. He went on to be a Senior Colorist at Shortcut. Educated in France, he has a master’s degree in Film Science.
Alary has collaborated with acclaimed directors including Kornel Mundruczo on Pieces of a Woman, as well as Martin Werner, Reynald Gresset, Martin De Thurah and respected cinematographers Daniel Voldheim, Jakob Ihre, Benjamin Loeb, Kasper Tuxen, and Khalid Mohtaseb.
In the commercial space, he has partnered with major studios such as Sony, Bron, and MK2, and brands like Playstation, BMW, Audi, Samsung, Volvo, Givenchy, and McDonald’s. Recent credits include the Radiohead music video, “If You Say the Word.”
