The British Film Designers Guild has announced that entries are officially open for the 15th BFDG Production Design Awards.
The awards bring together British and international art department talent to celebrate the best production design in film, TV, commercials and music videos which have involved members of the BFDG over the past year.
Three awards will also be presented to recognise individuals for their contributions to the art department.
The awards ceremony will take place on Saturday 28 February 2026, at the Royal Lancaster Hotel, London, bringing together industry leaders, creatives and craftspeople to honour excellence in production design.
BFDG chairperson Jonathan Paul Green revealed: “As we look ahead to the 15th BFDG Production Design Awards, we are proud to celebrate the extraordinary talent of our members and their art department teams–the people who imagine and build the worlds in which stories unfold.
“We should never underestimate the vital role the art department plays in bringing those stories to life.”
The BFDG has said it is looking forward to another year of high-profile entries in its film and TV categories.
Winners from the 14th BFDG Awards included Wicked and Conclave, with Sabrina Carpenter’s Taste winning the brand new award for Best Production Design, Music Video.
Submissions are now being accepted for productions released in 2025. To be eligible, at least one head of department from each project must be a BFDG member.
