EnergaCAMERIMAGE and ASC will pay tribute to Halyna Hutchins

Nov 11, 2021

The tragic death of Halyna Hutchins, an American-Ukrainian cinematographer, was a great shock to the whole film world.

EnergaCAMERIMAGE Festival, along with the ASC members, would like to honour not only an incredibly talented cinematographer who enriched the art of cinematography with her unique energy, but also their friend.

The memorial will be accompanied by a screening of one of Halyna Hutchins’ short films – Hidden – which was screened at the Festival in 2016.

Together with ASC members – Amy Vincent, Lawrence Sher, Xavier Pérez Grobet, Alice Brooks and others – EnergaCAMERIMAGE will pay a tribute to Halyna Hutchins.

Hidden is a story of a 12-year old boy from a Persian immigrant family in the United States who is overridden with guilt over a sudden death of his younger brother.
