CVP to host exclusive focus pulling seminars

CVP, one of the UK and Europe’s leading production solutions providers, is hosting a series of exclusive focus pulling seminars from the 8th – 10th of November at its Newman House showroom based in London.

Each day will feature four seminars headlined by industry experts James Hills, Graham Martyr, Jim McLean and Rozemarijin Stokkel.

CVP have created this unique showcase for Camera Assistants and Focus Pullers of all levels offering an interactive and hands-on environment to test and compare the most popular range of solutions. Guest speakers have a combination of over 50 years of onset experience and will provide unique insights, with an opportunity to debate and discuss techniques alongside brand representatives as well as CVP’s independent Technical Consultants.

The seminar schedule for each day is as follows:

10:30 – 11:30
Tips on how to organise your prep before a shoot led by James Hills, Graham Martyr, Jim McLean and Rozemarijin Stokkel

12:00 – 13:00
How to sharpen your game – starting as a Focus Puller in the industry led by James Hills and Rozemarijin Stokkel

13:30 – 14:30
Focus Pulling techniques led by Graham Martyr

15:00 – 16:00
Utilising the ARRI Hi-5 on a virtual production set led by Jim McLean
