CVP returns to BSC Expo partnering with leading manufacturers

CVP, one of the UK and Europe’s leading production solutions providers, will return to BSC Expo 2022 which takes place from Friday 8th until Saturday 9th April at Battersea Evolution, London.
CVP will partner with leading manufacturers to showcase the latest in production solutions and present a brand new virtual production stage. Partner brands featured include: Angenieux, ARRI, Blackmagic Design, Canon, DJI, Cooke, disguise, Leitz, Ncam, RED, ROE Visual, Sony, TrackMen, Tribe7 and Zeiss.
Committed to its ethos of providing a knowledge hub for the industry, CVP will once again occupy the Mezzanine Floor area of BSC at Battersea Evolution in London and will offer visitors a display of the newest production solutions, along with CVP’s renowned agnostic guidance and expertise from its technical experts.

Virtual Production NEW*
Over the past two years the industry has witnessed the rise of virtual production and an increasing rate at which new LED volumes are being built as more and more industry leaders recognise the significance of immersive, real-time production in this era of remote collaboration.
Following this increasing demand, CVP has curated an extensive virtual production stage featuring the newest technology specifically for Virtual and Extended Reality production (VP & XR).
CVP has partnered with disguise, Ncam, TrackMen, ARRI and the GhostFrame technology represented by ROE Visual to bring the latest in visualisation for film and broadcast applications. Visitors can expect to step into a real-life LED stage and watch themselves become immersed into completely virtual environments on screen, with the help of these cutting-edge technologies.
NDI Workflow NEW*
Explore how IP can improve live production workflows, enable more control and flexibility and maximise productivity in this new NDI workflow station. Powered by NewTek Tricaster mini 4K and with PTZ cameras from BirdDog, Canon and Panasonic at its core, this showcase explores management of multi vendor solutions via one NDI master controller, allowing operators to mix and match different camera configurations.
Motion Area
Precise control of camera movement is critical for any production. CVP has collated the most recent developments in motion control to allow visitors to explore the most suitable solution for specific needs – including wearables (Easyrig, Ready-Rig, Tilta), remote heads / stabilisers (ARRI, DJI, Freefly Systems), grip (Flowcine, Movmax) as well as the new DJI Ronin 4D.
Cine Solutions
This elegant display presents the latest fully rigged cine-style cameras from leading manufacturers including Sony’s VENICE, VENICE 2, FX9, FX6 and HDC F5500, ARRI Mini LF, RED’s V RAPTOR and KOMODO, Canon’s C300 MKIII and C500 MKII, DJI Ronin 4D, Blackmagic Design Ursa 12K and Vision Research Phantom VEO 4K. With large sensor / large format cinematography and broadcast workflows more closely aligning, for the first time, CVP is presenting fibre channel solutions that allow broadcast and studio production to integrate cine cameras into their workflow. Explore how to manage connectivity for multi-camera shoots from one master controller, as well as individual configurations.
Shoulder Rigs / Handheld
Featuring more than 20 of the recent and most popular small and medium form factor cameras rigged in shoulder mounted and handheld configurations, this display allows visitors to explore solutions designed to improve the quality of the shoot for each individual.
Monitor Wall
Utilising the modular walls from CVP’s Newman House, this unique display provides the perfect backdrop to view 34 of the best monitors the industry currently offers. Featuring a range from 5” to 31”, all displayed side by side and synced via a video router to enable like for like comparison, the same image will be displayed simultaneously across all units.
Lens Bar
Back, and bigger than ever, the popular Lens Bar features the UK’s largest display of new and used lenses; from brands such as Angenieux, Arri, Canon, Cooke, DZO, Fujinon, Leitz, Sigma, Tribe7, Zeiss and more.
Visitors can evaluate and compare how the leading lenses perform, and assess what combination of lens and filter will work for their deliverables before physical testing begins. CVP’s experts will be on hand to guide demos and advise on all aspects of buying and selling glass.

CVP is proud to be the only Authorised Service Centre in the world approved to service and perform ‘free’ in-warranty repairs to all of the following manufacturers Sony, RED, Teradek, SmallHD, TV Logic, Angenieux, Cartoni, O’Connor, Sachtler, Vinten and Litepanels.
