Building on last year’s success, the Canon stand will be divided into multiple zones, showcasing the latest launches as well as existing products from the brand.
Multi-Cam Broadcast Studio
Calling all broadcast experts and video enthusiasts, this three-part area is for you. It will show how the Canon XC protocol can enable seamless high quality IP multi-cam workflows for a range of broadcast tiers, using the Canon imaging ecosystem. A dedicated area will be converted into a Broadcast Studio that will demonstrate how Canon products can be united via XC protocol and third-party accessories to produce highly cinematic images in a live production environment. Filmmaker and Canon Ambassador Sébastien Devaud will be on hand to discuss the full setup. Products that will be featured will include the CR-N700, EOS C300 Mark III, CN8x15, XF605, EOS C70, CN-E18-80mm and more.
The second area will mimic a mid-tier environment to show how Canon cameras can allow customers, such as small studios, corporate studios, and houses of worship, to deliver colour matched, broadcast standard image quality within their budget. The studio will display products like the CR-N500, CR-N300, XF605, and EOS C70, all connected via Canon XC protocol workflow.
The third area is aimed at content creators and beginner studios using a multi-cam setup and will show a range of Canon products that offer fantastic image quality at a great price point. Products that will be displayed include the XA65, EOS R8, and PowerShot V10.
Virtual Production Studio
The Virtual Production Studio will have Canon Flex Zoom lenses that are the ideal choice for shooting with virtual backgrounds offering unrivalled lens communication, incredible shallow depth of field due to fast aperture, for an incredible output image and minimal distortion. The zone will feature a single C500 Mark II on a dolly mounted tripod to show how the lenses can communicate with the XR software, enabling the background to render in a manner which matches the lens settings. There will be a variety of virtual backgrounds as well as an example of photogrammetry.
4K PTZ Solutions
The 4K PTZ Solutions Zone includes an extensive list of products that will showcase the powerful image quality and operability of the full range of indoor and outdoor PTZ products and applications from Canon. The CR-X500, CR-X300, CR-N700, CR-N500, CR-N300, controllers, as well as Canon Auto Loop and Auto Tracking, will all be exhibited for visitors.
