Canon has announced it will be exhibiting at The Photography and Video Show (TPS) at the NEC, Birmingham September 17th -20th.
This is one of the biggest events in the diary for any seasoned professional or keen enthusiast. Clive Booth
After a twenty-year career as a graphic designer, working with clients around the world,  Clive  Booth decided to follow his lifelong ambition of becoming a photographer and filmmaker. He is best known for his distinctive style of selective focus in available, continuous and found light, giving his work an atmospheric, intimate and at times ethereal quality. He is also known for his experimentation with, and early adoption of new technologies and techniques. In 2019, he started working on the Canon Young People Programme to nurture youth creativity through interactive visual storytelling workshops.
Dan Kennedy
With 20+ years’ experience shooting some of the best-known names in the public eye, celebrity and fashion, photographer Dan Kennedy has built up an exemplary reputation working in the UK, the US and the Middle East.  Dan’s body of work includes A-list stars like Angelina Jolie and Keira Knightley, and has been featured in publications throughout the world including The Sunday Times Magazine, The Hollywood Reporter and The Telegraph-as well as billboards from New York to Tokyo.  Dan will be sharing his behind-the-scenesof celebrity photography at TPS.
Dani Connors
Dani Connor is a content creator and wildlife photographer. Through her video diaries, Dani shares her journey photographing wildlife and connecting with nature.
She will share her wildlife photography experience in Spain’s Sierra de Andújar Natural Park, where she photographed the endangered Iberian lynx with the Canon EOS R7.
Drew Buckley
Drew Buckley is an award-winning landscape and wildlife photographer who also loves photographing the night sky. Join him as he talks through his own photographic journey over the last twelve years, capturing star-filled images near to his home in Wales.
Fergus Kennedy
Fergus Kennedy was trained as a Marine Biologist but has diversified his work over the years to include commercial photography and videography, underwater photography, astrophotography, and drone operation. In his talks, Fergus will reveal the secrets of working as part of a team on a Canon shoot, the challenges, the opportunities and the benefits of being a ‘jack of all trades’.
Heathcliff O’Malley
Heathcliff O’Malley started his career assisting editorial and fashion photographers. He has worked for the last 25 years as a contract photographer for the Daily Telegraph, covering news and features across the globe. He will share the reality of covering global breaking news assignments. He will also detail what went into making some of his favourite pictures, the people he met on his journeys, and reflect on how the events of 911 influenced his career. He will also showcase more recent work covering Covid and the crisis in Ukraine.
Ian Hippolyte
London based photographer Ian Hippolyte is known for creating bold and polished fashion imagery through his sophisticated use of light and colour. Ian will take us through his journey as an image maker, exploring his techniques and highlighting work from his portfolio.
Molly Darlington
Canon Ambassador, Molly Darlington is a sports photographer working for Reuters News Agency. She will share how to get started in sports photography and how she progressed to where she is now. By showcasing the images from her favourite moments, Molly will add in some tips and tricks on the settings and equipment she used to capture the action. .
Roxy Furman
Roxy is a  biologist and wildlife filmmaker who tells stories about animals and the natural world. These stories provide insight into how an animal’s life could ignite long-lasting change to human behaviour. Roxy will talk about how wildlife filmmaking can be an incredibly powerful tool for conservation. She will also discuss a recent shoot in Mexico, where she made two short films both focusing on the relationship between ecotourism and wildlife – the films focus on two iconic species – whale sharks and spider monkeys.
Tyrone Singleton
Tyrone, as a principal dancer with the Birmingham Royal Ballet, broadcasts his art form under the spotlight of his on-stage performances. Within the contrast of stark light and the shadows at the side of stage, he found a photography artform that captures the gritty, intimate moments ‘behind the curtain’,  This year at TPS, Tyrone will share his journey from dancer to photographer, and how he captures this unseen world on stage – something which at times, contrasts with the perfectly polished image of classical ballet.

David Newton
Dave Newton is a global travelling professional photographer. He is the former technical editor of both EOS Magazine and Canon Professional Network.
He will be covering a variety of talks on the EOS R System cameras from the R10 to the R3. These will include how to setup your R System camera, looking at focus settings, button usage and customisation as well as advanced setups.
Elisa Lannacone
Elisa is a cinematographer with experience working  across six continents, producing work for outlets such as  Newsweek, National Geographic,  and  BBC World. Covering challenging environments, from the Rabaa massacre in Cairo, to domestic violence within Iraqi refugee camps, her work is fuelled with social consciousness. Elisa will share how to select the right gear for an assignment.
Joas Souza
Joas is known for his incredibly crisp and powerful signature photographic style. His fine art architectural photography prints are highly regarded by interior designers as outstanding works. His prints make excellent artwork for both residential and commercial spaces. He will be talking about the secrets behind a great printed picture, and the flawless work he delivers through Canon’s large format printing.
