Cinec, which takes place in Munich from 17 – 19th September, will again provide an international marketplace for users and decision makers in the cinema, TV and media industries, to network, present and discuss ideas, and showcase new products.
This year’s exhibition will once again be accompanied by the CineCongress, which offers lectures and workshops encompassing the entire workflow of making movies – from the initial idea, to production, as well as the increasing number of ways of exploitation and distribution. Among the topics of the CineCongress this year are new content, production beyond HD, camera trends, new LED-technologies, implementation of VR and AR, IP-production, cloud-solutions, display and projection technologies, new audio-formats, film heritage and archives, data security, business models, visual perception and its physiological aspects.
The CineCongress will reflects how strategies lend themselves to the active design of film and television, discuss which techniques will prevail, which formats have to be operated and question whether 4K keeps its promises.
The importance of the industry is reflected by the CinecAwards, the award ceremony for outstanding technical innovations, hosted by the Bavarian State Ministry for Economic Affairs and Media, Energy, and Technology, which will take place in the impressive room of the Munich Residence, The Imperial Hall. The registration process for the trade fair is already underway; with early birds pricing available until March 31st.
