It is with regret that the British Society of Cinematographers shares some tragic news.
Martin Hammond, known well from his many years of supporting the BSC and of course – many others, suffered a heart attack on Wednesday 7th February whilst driving. Even though he was airlifted to hospital, they were unable to save his life.
We are all completely shocked and our heartfelt thoughts are with his loved ones during this very sad time.
Martin will no doubt be missed by so many. Please do send in any messages of condolence to Audra Marshall: audra@bscine.com and they will be passed on to Martin’s family in time.
