British Arrows 2023 winners announced

Apr 3, 2023

Last night saw the cream of the British advertising industry convene in the Great Room of London’s Grosvenor House hotel for the 2023 British Arrows.

The event was introduced by Arrows co-chairwomen Clare Donald and Jani Guest, Chief Production Officer at Publicis Groupe UK and CEO at Creators Inc respectively, who have now stepped down from their stewardship of the Arrows to be replaced by Simon Cooper, Executive Producer and Managing Director of Academy.

After Donald and Guest had handed over to the night’s compere, TV presenter Rylan, the awards proper got underway.

In the cinematography category, It’s Not Called Getting Old from Alzheimer’s Society took home the gold, with EA Games’ Matchday For The World’s Game and Uber Eats’ Dance Do Less winning silver and bronze respectively.

Big winners on the night included CALM and ITV’s hard-hitting campaign The Last Photo, created by adam&eveDDB and directed by Max Fisher through cain&abelDDB, which picked up five golds and three silvers, as well as Commercial of the Year, with CALM also named Advertiser of Excellence.
