Berlin International Film Festival: 2023 Competition line-up announced

The 18 films that are set to compete for the Golden and Silver Bears at the 73rd Berlinale have been unveiled. Productions from 19 countries are represented and 15 films are world premieres. Six films were directed by women and 11 filmmakers have been at the festival before, eight in competition. Three of the films in the Competition programme are debuts.

The 73rd Berlin International Film Festival will take place from 16-26 February.

The line-up features:
