American Cinema Editors has announced the return of EditFest LA to Disney’s Grand Central Air Terminal on Saturday 22 August 2026.
“Since 2008, EditFest has been the preeminent celebration of editing and editors, offering rare access to the knowledge and insights of the industry’s most acclaimed film editors — alongside unparalleled opportunities to connect with the editing community,” organisers said.
“The one-day, in-person event brings together working professionals, emerging editors, and industry insiders for a full day of panels, conversations, and networking in one of Los Angeles’ most storied venues.”
This year ACE is launching EditFest Global On-Demand, a new, curated YouTube channel featuring ACE clips, panels, and podcasts that immediately brings the celebration of editing to a global audience.
EditFest Global On-Demand will also expand across ACE’s TikTok, Instagram Reels, and YouTube Shorts with exclusive short-form content.
