Lance Hayes joins Harbor as director of post technology

Lance Hayes joins Harbor in the role of director of post technology with immediate effect, founder and CEO Zak Tucker has announced. Hayes will be based out of Harbor’s Los Angeles campus.

A highly skilled tech professional, Hayes has more than 14 years of post-production technical operations experience. Previous successful tenures include major roles with Shed, ILM, EFilm, and LightIron as Director of Engineering. Adept at solving complex problems, creating agile workflows, and managing a team of engineers, Hayes will work directly with Harbor’s Head of Post Technology Randy Main to help execute and manage engineering infrastructure projects across all geographies. 

Commenting on his new role with Harbor, Hayes said, “I’m excited to collaborate with the creative, talented engineers at Harbor to help create the most advanced, forward-thinking post-production facility in the industry. The boundaries of on-set/near set and remote locations will blend to create one seamless facility for artists and creatives to work more efficiently across the globe.”
