EBComs incorporates and promotes executives to leadership team
Jun 17, 2022
Behind-the-camera entertainment PR team EBComs (formerly Emmanuel Bates Communications) has recently incorporated as an LLC, led by founder and president Meredith Emmanuel.
Simultaneously, EBComs, LLC partnered with and promoted Ranjinder Hans to VP of Talent Relations and Awards, Mackinley Sullivan to Chief Operating Officer and Mary Keeler to Chief
Financial Officer.
EBComs consistently leads award-winning campaigns for its clients, helping them earn a variety of accolades including the historic 89th Academy Award nominee Rachel Morrison for Mudbound (first woman nominated for the Best Cinematography) and most recently, the big cinematography trifecta win for Greig Fraser, ASC ACS (94th Academy Award Winner for Best Cinematography, BAFTA and the ASC award for Dune).
The company supports its clients’ career achievements by building recognition via media, guilds, BAFTA, Emmy and AMPAS, alongside speaking, teaching and consulting opportunities within the industry.
“I’ve always been driven to represent filmmakers who have been traditionally underrepresented in the entertainment industry. Growing their careers by highlighting their extraordinary achievements and expanding their individual networks is essential work to me. Every film and television show created is a miracle. There are so many challenges. An enormous number of artists and technicians operate at their absolute best to put great stories on the screen. We need to celebrate their excellence and skills while acknowledging their extensive craft contributions to the art and science of moving images,” says president Meredith Emmanuel.
“Our business has grown rapidly since Ranjinder and Mackinley joined the firm. Mary manages our finances with flair and skill. I’m very proud we got through the pandemic with all teammembers on board, so we could continue to serve our clients with excellence,” says Emmanuel. “This wouldn’t be the case, were it not for every team member’s dedication to our clients, the behind-the-camera industry and our business. We have the most talented PR practitioners in the industry.”
The new commitment allows Emmanuel and the team to expand its international collective of publicists, writers and coordinators to represent entertainment’s most prestigious individuals, as well as carefully-selected up-and-comers looking to get the recognition they deserve.
