Cooke’s London Gallery is now showcasing Creative Gravity, an exhibition celebrating the creative collaboration between cinematographer Lol Crawley, BSC and director Brady Corbet.
The new exhibition offers an in-depth look at their artistic synergy, highlighting their work on The Brutalist (2024), Vox Lux (2018) and The Childhood of a Leader (2015).
The exhibition, currently on display at Cooke’s London Gallery, features behind-the-scenes photography and an exclusive insight into the duo’s me working on the three films.
On 30 January, Cooke hosted a private opening event a ended by Lol Crawley, BSC, Brady Corbet, and fellow crew members from The Brutalist, including costume designer Kate Forbes and composer Daniel Blumberg. The evening brought together fellow BSC-accredited cinematographers for insightful discussions on the creative process behind the three films, as well as a celebration of The Brutalist’s recent success.
At the 2025 Golden Globes, The Brutalist won three awards for Best Director, Best Film and Best Actor in the Drama category. Lol Crawley, BSC won Best Cinematography in a Feature Film for
The Brutalist at the 69th British Society of Cinematographers Awards held on Saturday 1 February. The film has had a host of other related nominations for both the upcoming Cri cs Choice and BAFTAs.
Creative Gravity offers visitors an intimate exploration into Lol Crawley and Brady Corbet’s collaborative journey and the artistic choices that have defined their cinematic style.
