ESZTER CSEPELI HCA
She is a founding member of the Hungarian Cinematographers’ Association (HCA) and the only woman on the board. Over 15 years, she was the only Hungarian woman to film a feature film as a cinematographer. Eszter is a Fulbright Scholar and nominated for Palme d’Or at Cannes Film Festival. ZEISS + WIM Altitude Awards Winner, Main Prize. Featured in British Cinematographer. She currently resides in Los Angeles. She was selected for the ASC Mentorship Program in 2022, her mentor is Cynthia Pusheck ASC.
BENEDICT SPENCE BSC
Started his career in Factual Entertainment, as a lighting camera person in the early 2000’s. Slowly moving over into commercials and drama work, he has been a cinematographer for the past 10 years. Today he works both in High End TV, and commercials. In 2020 he was nominated for an Emmy Award for his Cinematography on Netflix’s The End Of The F**cking World, and in 2023 he was asked to join the British Society of Cinematographers. He lives in London with his wife and his dog, and travels worldwide for work.
ZEISS REPRESENTATIVE –Â ALEJANDRO ALCOCER
Zeiss México representative, Studied cinematography at the Centro de Capacitación Cinematográfica in Mexico City. He has worked as a producer, teacher and director of photography. Since 2012 he has been the sales director of the camera lenses division of ZEISS in Latin America. Alejandro will give an introductory presentation of Supreme lenses before our guests begin to share their experiences.
MODERATOR – TOM CAMPBELL Â
is a IATSE 600 Cinematographer and a member of the Director’s Guild of America. He has lensed award-winning narrative and documentary feature films, music videos, and commercial content for fashion and tech giants such as Marc Jacobs, Google and Hugo Boss. Tom DP’ed the upcoming action-drama, The Wingwalker, directed by Alonso Alvarez, which had its Latin American premiere at FICG 24′ and will be released by Disney in Mexico later this year
