Official 2018 Cannes Festival Line-Up Revealed

The 71st Cannes film festival, to be held from 8 to 19 May, has announced a 2018 selection that features big names and a truly global outlook.
Iranian director, Asghar Farhardi, will open the festival with his film Everybody Knows, a thriller that stars PenĂ©lope Cruz and Javier Bardem, and also included in the list of 18 films in competition for the Palme d’Or are Spike Lee’s BlacKkKlansman, Jean-Luc Godard’s Le Livre D’Image (The Image Book) and Pawel Pawlikowski’s Zimna Wojna (Cold War).
Although out of competition, there will also be a blockbuster screening of the much-anticipated Solo: A Star Wars Story.
