
The nominations have been announced for the 2026 BAFTA TV Craft Awards, including in the Photography & Lighting: Fiction and Photography Factual categories.
Emmy winner Matthew Lewis has made the Photography & Lighting: Fiction shortlist for his work on Adolescence, while Severance’s Suzie Lavelle BSC ISC follows up her recent BSC Awards triumph with a nod here.

Meanwhile, Photography: Factual nominees include Our Land: Israel’s Other War DP Jordan Bryon and Marcel Mettelsiefen for State of War: Fighting the Narcos (Exposure).

Elsewhere, Adolescence director Philip Barantini joins his DP as a BAFTA Craft Awards nominee, lining up in the Director: Fiction category alongside Dawn Shadforth (Trespasses), Janus Metz (Andor) and Sam Donovan (Severance).
Director: Factual nominees include Benedict Sanderson (See No Evil), Karim Shah (Gaza: Doctors Under Attack), Olaide Sadiq (Grenfell: Uncovered) and Rob Coldstream (Vietnam: The War That Changed America).
In Production Design, Gillian Devenney (Trespasses) joins Luke Hull, Rebecca Alleway, Toby Britton (Andor), Philippa Mumford (Juice), and Tom Burton, Grant Bailey and Barbara Herman‑Skelding (A Thousand Blows).
And Editing: Fiction sees Fiona Brands (Slow Horses (Episode 6)), Úna Ní Dhonghaíle (Prisoner 951), Simon Smith (The Last of Us) and Yan Miles (Andor) receive nods, while Editing: Factual nominees include Jennifer Asheitu Hampson (Attack on London: Hunting the 7/7 Bombers), Mel Quigley, Andy Kemp (Gaza: Doctors Under Attack), Paul Hammacott (Louis Theroux: The Settlers) and Samuel R. Santana (Grenfell: Uncovered).
BAFTA has also revealed the names and productions up for BAFTA Television Awards.
The shows shortlisted for Drama Series are A Thousand Blows, Blue Lights, Code of Silence and This City Is Ours, while Adolescence, I Fought the Law, Trespasses and What It Feels Like for a Girl will battle for Limited Drama.
Entertainment nominees include The Graham Norton Show, Last One Laughing, Michael McIntyre’s Big Show and Would I Lie to You, and International nods go to The Bear, The Diplomat, Pluribus, Severance, The Studio and The White Lotus.
Meanwhile, The Assembly, Go Back to Where You Came From, Knife Edge: Chasing Michelin Stars and Race Across the World are up for Factual Entertainment, and Bibaa & Nicole: Murder in the Park, Educating Yorkshire, See No Evil and The Undercover Police Scandal: Love and Lies Exposed are nominated in Factual Series.
In total, the five programmes with the most nominations are:
- 11 nominations for Adolescence
- Seven nominations for A Thousand Blows
- Six nominations for Andor and Trespasses
- Five nominations for The Celebrity Traitors
