The highly anticipated West London Film Competition 2025 screening will take place on Monday, 31st March 2025 at The Ealing Project, showcasing the creativity and talent of student filmmakers from across West London.
The competition has enables West Londoner’s aspiring to careers in film and TV to gain a taste of being in a real production situation, learning skills and behaviour disciplines to supplement the knowledge from their courses.
This exciting event will feature short films created by local students, mentored by industry professionals Alix Guichard, Billy Abbott, Martin Blackburn and Washington Peterkin. The competition challenges teams to produce films based on the themes “Behind the Scenes” and “Showcasing Creativity” – with just five days to shoot, edit and complete their work.
The films will be judged on factors including story, character development, cinematography, sound design, and overall impact. An expert panel of judges will select the winning team, who will have the opportunity to work at Park Royal’s RD Studios.

This is a fantastic opportunity to celebrate local talent, explore fresh ideas, and network with filmmakers and industry professionals. Attendees will also be able to watch the winning films and interact with the creators.
