VERSA Studios, the UK’s leading TV, Film, Live Event, Immersive and Gaming Studios based in London, Manchester and Leeds were proud to celebrate International Women’s Day and continue their ongoing support of WFTV – Women In Film & TV (UK) with a speed networking, tours and evening drinks event bringing together the industry TV and Film community at their central Manchester home, the ABC Buildings on Quay Street, St John’s Quarter. The partnership event took place on Wednesday 6th March from 6-10pm.
The evening kicked off with a special welcome from Emily Feller, Chief Creative Officer at Warp Films and WFTV Board member, followed by speed networking, discussions, tours, drinks and food. The evening was attended by a selection of WFTV members and industry colleagues who were given the opportunity to take a tour of VERSA Studios ABC studio, which is the dedicated home for the BBC’s leading daytime show Morning Live, located on the top two floors of the ABC Buildings.
The VERSA team have previously welcomed recent TV entertainment projects such as Martin Lewis Live Xmas Special, The John Bishop Show, BBC Morning Live, Justin’s House, Celebability, Life Stories with Kate Garraway and Bafta winning Friday Night Live, Saturday Night Takeaway amongst others, as well as live events Kagami, Kendrick Lamar at OGS, Arctic Monkeys Music Video, the Exquisite Gucci campaign and the recent Lacoste campaign.
