The BSC has welcomed five new members to the Society. Each of them has a wide and diverse body of work that has subsequently been recognised.
The latest society members are:
Benjamin Kračun BSC
Kračun most recently shot Promising Young Woman and also worked on Beast and the HBO series The Third Day.

Michael Wood BSC
Wood’s filmography includes Strike Back, A Christmas Carol and Whitstable Pearl.

Baz Irvine BSC ISC
Irvine’s work includes Trauma, Wild Bill and The Pembrokeshire Murders.
The cinematographer aided Angus Hudson BSC on the Sophia Loren centred The Life Ahead.
Mattias Nyberg BSC
Nyberg’s projects include War of the Worlds, Inside No.9 and Two Weeks to Live.

James Layton ACO Associate BSC
Layton has worked as a cinematographer on A Serial Killer’s Guide to Life and the short Just Molly & Me, amongst others. He has been trusted as a camera operator on many more projects, inlcuding Rebecca, Downton Abbey and His Dark Materials.
Layton’s work on His Dark Materials was nominated for a BSC award.
The BSC will welcome the new members at a live event, with details to be confirmed at a later date.
