Streamland Media has named Sharon Purnell as chief human resources officer, reporting directly to CEO Bill Romeo.
In her role, Purnell will be responsible for the continued integration of personnel across its picture, visual effects, sound and marketing businesses. Additionally, she will focus on organizational design, diversity, equity and inclusion, leadership development, and ensuring Streamland’s artists, engineers and managers are supported in their collaborative creative and technical endeavors with clients across Streamland’s global locations.
“Sharon has the right combination of experience to drive our integration and expansion efforts,” says Romeo. “We will look to empower all personnel on every level as they continue to find new ways to elevate what’s possible for our clients in post production.”
Purnell joins Streamland as a proven HR executive with over 20 years of global experience in leading talent development, talent acquisition, compensation and employee relations initiatives. Her expertise span across all aspects of HR, having served in various roles at General Electric Company, Honeywell Aerospace, Underwriters Laboratories and most recently as the CHRO for Riddell Sports.
