Sign up for KFX Technology’s remote head training

A new training course offers an opportunity to learn quickly and thoroughly what camera remote heads and motorised track systems KFX Technology manufactures. The GBCT training event is supported by British Cinematographer.

KFX is known for simplicity, reliability, and usability – always at the forefront of their design philosophy. Founder and CEO, Steve Scammell, is offering the opportunity to learn in small groups how to practically set up and work with a KFX remote head and motorized track. 

The course will cover: 

  • Overview of the equipment 
  • How to set up and run the cable 
  • Balancing 
  • Nodal Positioning 
  • Understanding the features and controls 
  • When to use damping and feathering 
  • Introduction to memorizing moves 
  • The limits of a remote head 

SESSION 1 Wednesday 13 April 2022 – 10:00 to 13:00 

SESSION 2 Wednesday 13 April 2022 – 14:00 to 17:00
