London’s RD Studios – one of the capital’s largest production facilities, with over 45,000 ft² of studio space – has marked its first year of operations.
RD Studios’ goals included providing both a flexible space, and crucially, a sustainable sound studio for a broad client mix. DNEG/Dimension moved in to Studios 1 and 2 before the studios formally opened their drive-in doors for business and the teams have been there ever since, providing volumetric content and virtual production services for clients in film, TV and music and more.
Over its first year, RD Studios has hosted events including sports launch events, films, TV productions, social media content, VR productions and rehearsal space for major musical talent.
RD Studios’ client list includes Paramount Films, Amazon, Apple, ITV BBC, Factual Fiction, January Productions, Honor Hellon, Westbrook Media, Diet Coke, Versace, Orios, Aston Martin, Formula 1, Williams Racing, Vodafone, Barbour, Gucci and more.
On top of this, the Studios has been visited by some incredible talent including Will Smith, Jason Sudeikis, Lashana Lynch, James Norton, Lily James, Kate Moss and Lewis Hamilton.
RD Studios has immersed itself in the West London business community, investing in community-led initiatives like Re-Made in Park Royal. This sees sets, materials and props repurposed by and for the local community, artists, charities, schools and other productions, building on the Studios’ goal to be London’s most sustainable studio.
